EDUCATION AFRICA COMPASS(EAC)
Education is the life wire of any nation that wants to grow, develop and be sustained. The Primary education is the need and right of any person or child in the world today. Yet we see that some nations in Africa are not living up to this; providing even the basic education to their children and youths. The so-called leaders or rulers in such places believe to spend funds of these countries on useless things. There is a deliberate act of insolence to educating the young and old in Africa today. There is also a poor approach to solving the problems militating against having a good or standard education in Africa. There is an appalling rate of mass failure in basic or entrance examinations across Africa. Unqualified teachers are over clouding our schools and classrooms in most of African nations. There are poor methods of teaching or impacting basic knowledge into the future of Africa. there is also, the problems of bad or poor infrastructures, high cost of education in all strata of education, poor school buildings, classrooms and learning environment, mismanagement and embezzlement of inadequate funds meant for education, non-payment of salaries of teachers and staff, appointment of illegitimate and unqualified personnel to handle sectors such as education, information and communication in nations in Africa and so on.
These are the main obstacles against the establishment, development, standardizing and maintainace of the education across Africa. if we must build a new, better, strong, truly united, instrumental and optimistic Africa, which the Holy Scripture, science, constructive culture, norms and value, divinity and humanity balance call for, every bad thing must be shunned and transformed into every good thing. Positive change is imminent now, these days that so much is placed on the shoulders of mother Africa by the Most High and the world. Our education, from the planning to the executing must change. Our education, across mother Africa, from the politically appointment of ministers of education to the settling down of the children and youths in the classroom must be standard. Qualified teachers or instructors must be the order of the day in all our education institutions in mother Africa. Our syllabuses, curriculums to the text books must be standard, and the best. Conducive environment for learning, good school building, classrooms, laboratories, equipment and time of teaching must be latest and adequate. Improved funds and salaries must be made available for teachers, and payment at the right time. Our education planning should be opened from better hands locally or internationally based on the best options for progressive style of education and socialization.
